The 7th annual Whiskey Social is set to take over The Citadel Houston, and it promises to be an event that lovers of craft drinks will really enjoy.
The celebration of spirits will be welcoming distillers from all over the world, and it is billed as being the largest whiskey tasting event in the state. Some offerings will be available in Texas for the first time, and the attendees will be among the first in the country to give them a try.
Guests at the Social will be able to sample dozens of distilled beverages such as Scotch, Irish whiskey, Japanese and Canadian whiskies, and American brands will be heavily featured. The suggested attire for the activity is business casual, so shorts, athletic attire, and short sleeves are not permitted. Everyone will be able to enjoy hors d’oeuvres for as long as they last, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charity that helps veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
