Houston hikers are about to discover one of the city’s best kept secrets when they hit the trails for a day of discovery.
The Bayou City Outdoors has set the date for its “A Walk in the Woods” outing, and the registrants will meet up in the Anthills Parking Lot at Terry Hershey Park before they head out. It has been scheduled for the morning, and it will be free to take part.
The group will be walking on the natural surface trails at the venue, and there will be plenty of shade to keep everyone comfortable. The route will be between three and four miles, and it will go at a moderate pace. Everyone will stay together, and all levels of hiking ability may participate, as can well-behaved dogs. Sturdy footwear, water, sunscreen, and bug repellents are all highly recommended. Dressing in layers may also prove useful.
An outdoor activity can be a fun way for members of the public to meet new friends who also share their interest. Stationery printers can help take care of the housekeeping side of organizing events by preparing safety waivers, Letterheads, and other documents
Bayou City Outdoors has scheduled its A Walk in the Woods outing for Saturday, June 14. It will take to the trail at 9:30 am, and everyone has been asked to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
