Houston golf season still in full swing

Several golf tournaments are planned for the fall in Houston area. Two of them are taking place in late October and early November.

The first is the 4th annual Golf for Hope, which is taking place in nearby Magnolia. Proceeds will be donated to Hope Beyond Bridges. Fees are $125 until October 1 and $150 after, and include breakfast and lunch. Players can compete in a hole-in-one contest where the prizes offered include a Lincoln Navigator and $25,000 cash. There will also be a putting contest with a top prize of $5,000. In addition, a silent auction will be taking place. The awards ceremony will be held virtually.

The other tournament will be the 24th annual Judge J. Kent Adams Chairman's Cup presented by the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce. It will include golf, a croquet tournament, hors d'oeuvres, and wine tasting. All players will receive a boxed lunch.

Golf tournaments are an excellent opportunity for Houston business leaders to connect. There are always many chances to hand out Business Cards during games.

The Gold for Hope tournament will be held at High Meadow Ranch Golf Club on October 31 from 8:00 to 3:30 PM. Visit the event website to learn more.

The J. Kent Adams tournament will take place at Northgate Country Club. Call 281-440-4160 for the most current information.
