It has been said by many that it takes an entire village to raise a child, and this is the spirit behind a community celebration that will welcome the change of seasons.
An activity that has been organized by the Back to Eden Dellwo Program will combine community service with a festive occasion. Houston’s Crofton Place Apartments has been chosen to serve as the venue for the family friendly afternoon, and as it will take place outside, those who intend on coming out are reminded to dress accordingly for the weather.
The free activity will see a guest speaker take to the stage to discuss ways local families can address the topic of abuse with their kids, including how to spot it and what to do if they have concerns. There will also be face painting, balloon artists, and game tables for the crowd to enjoy, and a raffle draw has been scheduled as well.
To thank everyone for showing their community spirit, everyone in attendance will go home with a goodie bag for as long as supplies last. Promotional Products are often included in such goodie Bags. The function will begin at 12:00 pm, and the fun will keep on going until it draws to a close at 3:00 pm.
