The United Way of Greater Houston has cordially invited parents-to-be, new parents, and those who are simply curious to attend an event focused on pregnancy, the birth process, and beyond.
The 20th annual Birth Fair will open October with a full day of learning, socializing, and making new connections. Admission will be free, and there will be lots to see and do.
The day will open with warm welcome and the distribution of Promotional Products for as long as supplies last. After this, there will be a fashion show featuring maternity and baby clothing in a variety of styles. A ceremony planned for midday will recognize local doctors who have gone above and beyond in their service to the community, and there will be workshops, demonstrations, the opportunity to learn about area support groups, and a family area.
Those who would like to attend the event may secure their tickets in advance, and they will also receive an entry in the raffle draw. The organizers have also put out a call seeking volunteers and donations from the public to help cover the cost of hosting the event.
This day dedicated to making the birth process go as smoothly as possible will be held at 50 Waugh Drive in Houston. It will be open from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm on Saturday, October 5.
