The 11th annual Puerto Rican and Cuban Festival is taking place next month in Houston.
The festival will mainly be a celebration of the culture of both countries, focusing especially on their music and dance.
Some of the musical guests that will be performing at this year’s festival are Grupo Kache, Andy Montanez, Peter Nieto, and El Dandy de Cuba. There will also be appearances by the El Sabor de Houston Dance Academy, Orquesta Mi Ruma, and the LD Dance Co. Other performers will include DJ Mike and Culture Beat.
Vendors will also be on hand to sell related merchandise such as clothing, arts and crafts, and handmade jewelry. Vendor spaces are still available for $500.
VIP tickets are available for $120. They include preferential seating, a full meal, four drinks, access to a cash bar, and admittance to a special VIP area. There are also Red Carpet VIP tickets for $200 each. In addition to the previous perks, Red Carpet guests get to attend meet and greets with the performers.
Souvenir T-Shirts are available for purchase. Houston Print shops are often asked to provide these and other custom products for public events.
The Puerto Rican and Cuban Festival will be held at MidTown Park on October 27 from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm. General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Visit the event website for more information.
