The 2nd annual Greater Houston Food Truck Festival is taking place in nearby Pasadena next month.
The inaugural festival last year featured over 50 food trucks and there will likely be as many if not more at this year’s festival. Some of the best food available in Houston is provided by food trucks; this event helps to introduce the public to what is available out there and showcases some of the city’s top culinary artists.
There will also be a children’s section that is set to provide water slides and bouncy castles. There will be face painting and other activities. In addition, plenty of snow cones, ice cream, and other snacks will be available for purchase.
The festival will also feature some of the city’s top musical performers representing pop, country, and rock. A number of vendors will also be on hand to sell arts and crafts like handmade jewelry and fine art, general merchandise, and prepared foods. In addition, there will be both indoor and outdoor activities taking place.
No doubt many Houston residents will take the short trip to this festival; organizers may invest in flyer printing services to help get the word out.
The Greater Houston Food Truck Festival will be held at the Pasadena Municipal Fairgrounds on July 7 from 1:00 to 10:00 PM. Admission is free for 1:00 to 4:00 PM and $7 after. Call 713-998-0079 to learn more.
