The 5th annual Houston Fine Art Fair is taking place next month for three days.
This event features international artists, special projects, and on-site installations.
There will be an opening preview the evening before the fair begins. Black Card members will have the first look from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and will have access to an open wine bar and hors d'oeuvres. VIP attendees will be admitted at 7:30 pm and will have access to the wine bar. All will get a sample of galleries with art from 15 countries. Proceeds from this event will go to FotoFest International.
The fair itself will feature the presentation of the 2015 Illumination Award for Achievement in Arts Education, the awarding of a lifetime achievement honor to Cling Willour, and a preview of the Dorothy Hood Retrospective that will be opening at the Art Museum of South Texas next month. Visitors can also view the Houston Artists’ Hall of Fame, enjoy performance art, and take part in panel discussions for collectors.
Poster printing companies in the Houston area are often asked to help advertise events like these.
The Houston Fine Art Fair will be held at the NRG Center from September 10 to 12. Admission is $20, $100 for VIP, and $125 for Black Card. To get the latest information about this event, call 631-283-5505.
