The Texas Association of Business Brokers will soon be hosting a holiday gathering, and the monies raised through the celebration will be donated to Houston kids in need this Christmas.
The advocacy organization will be raising funds for an initiative run by the local court appointed special advocates (CASA) program. Both monetary donations and the contribution of toys or other gifts in kind will be appreciated, and ensure that kids placed in protective care have a gift to unwrap during the holidays.
CASA has set up an online donation page, so that anyone who would like to help can make their contribution, and their receipt will grant them entry to the event. Those who bring a toy or other item to contribute with a value of at least $25.00 will also be welcome. It is requested that these items be left unwrapped. The session is part of the group's schedule of monthly networking luncheons.
To help make it easier to decide what to give, a list has been prepared of gifts that are the most in demand, which can be found on the Eventbrite page. Items for all ages, from babies to teens, will be welcome. A flyer printing company can prepare an assortment of marketing materials that may be useful during a fundraising campaign like this.
The CASA Holiday Charity Networking Event will take place on December 14 at 5pm. The location is 797 Sorella Court, and monetary donations may be made online through the CASA website.
