The 2017 Lantern Awards of Texas is taking place next month in Houston.
It is a presentation of the Business Marketing Association (BMA), and the main reason for the awards is to highlight business-to-business communication and marketing excellence.
There are 17 separate categories of awards with several subcategories. These include Digital Marketing which includes websites, Banners and mobile apps, Video, Social media, Print including advertising, photography and illustration, Tradeshows and Special Events, Direct Mail, Sales Enablement Tools like Brochures, Corporate (branding) and Non-Profit. In addition, awards such as Rookie of the Year, People’s Choice and Best of Show will be presented for overall excellence.
Guests will likely have the opportunity to network with their business peers during the night. Gala events such as these usually start off with a cocktail reception where attendees can network with one another followed by a sit-down dinner. No doubt many of the Houston business leaders planning to attend will be bringing along plenty of custom Business Cards to exchange.
