The Bayou City Art Festival Downtown is taking place over two days next month in Houston. A presentation of the Art Colony Association, proceeds will be donated to several local nonprofit organizations.
There will be 300 artists appearing at the festival to sell their jewelry, prints, sculpture and other handmade items. This year's featured artist will be Downtown Clifton Henri. Visitors will also have a chance to talk to the artists about their processes.
In addition to art, there will be musical entertainment from the likes of DEM, NICO, and Sara Van Buskirk. There will be roaming entertainers such as Jacob Ryan Marshall and Zachary Lerner. Other entertainment will include poetry readings, bubbles and caricature artist Bonnie Blue.
The kids will be entertained in the Children's Creative Zone where they can participate in art projects hosted by various non-profit vendors, and play games. Food trucks and beverage stations will be available.
This popular art festival attracts thousands of Houston residents each year, and organizers of such events often request the help from printing services companies to advertise.
