Annual technical festival provides educational opportunities

The 10th annual Houston Techfest is taking place next month.

The event is aimed at IT professionals, developers, and business decision-makers. However, it is also open to students and any members of the public who are interested in the subject.

Several speakers are lined up, including Todd Anglin of Telerik, Christine Assaf from Waste Management, Thor M. Castillo of Logicbound, and the Anderson Cancer Center’s Dr. Theresa Eller. Topics of discussion will include computer applications and upcoming technology. During the festival, several exhibitors will also be showcasing their newest products and programs of interest to those in the industry.

Food and drink will be available for purchase and there will be door prizes given out during the day that were donated by event sponsors.

Sponsorships are available from $800 to $5,000, and sponsors can also pay $250 to host a presentation. They may also donate items to be inserted into the goodie bag that every attendee receives, and attend a speaker/sponsor dinner.

Some of the sponsors of this Houston festival will likely invest in Promotional Products to be inserted into the goodie Bags.

The Houston Techfest will be held at the NRG Center on September 24 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. Visit the event website for more information about the festival, or to become a sponsor.
