The 2nd annual Gala for A Place for Peanut, Inc. is taking place next month in Houston.
A Place for Peanut is an equine care center. It currently houses over 20 miniature horses and other animals in need of a home. Guests will have to opportunity to meet two of the horses at the gala.
The emcee for the gala will be Casey Curry from Fox 26. Michelle Mantor from Houston Pet Talk magazine will be honored for her work with rescue animals.
Guests will be treated to a variety of appetizers and drinks. They will also be entertained by the Scott Gertner Jazz Band. In addition, artist Ann Marie Vancas will be creating an artwork during the evening that will later be auctioned off.
There will be both silent and live auctions taking place.
A Place for Peanut runs a foster program for some of the horses, as well as making all of its rescue animals available for adoption.
