The 3rd annual Houston Afrifest is taking place late next month. It is hosted by the Nigerian-American Multicultural Council and attracts approximately 2,000 visitors each year.
The event will consist of food from various African countries, cultural entertainment such as dance and music, games, children's activities, raffles, and exhibits about several African cultures.
It should be a good opportunity for entertainers and vendors to introduce themselves to the community. Vendor fees are $150 for a 10 x 10-foot booth and $250 for a 20 x 10-foot booth. Sponsorships are available from $500 for Community Partner up to $5,000 for Platinum Presenting Sponsor, and all sponsorships include tickets to the event. Local businesses can also purchase advertisements in the souvenir program; a quarter-page ad is $50, a half-page is $80, and a full-page is $125.
In addition, there are still plenty of openings for volunteers to help with all aspects of running the festival.
All sponsors for this event will also be mentioned in all Print advertising. Organizers have likely invested in services such as poster and flyer printing from a Houston printing company.
The Houston Afrifest will be held at Houston Baptist University on August 29 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets are $5 per person, although students and children will be admitted free of charge. Call 713-568-9450 to find out more about this event.Get a Free Quote for Print
