TCCA 20/20 Focus is set to take place this October in Houston, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Technology and Curriculum Conference.
This yearly conference attracts educators from various school districts in Texas, and is an opportunity for them to learn something new, as well as connect with their industry peers. Last year's conference featured 300 separate educational sessions, as well as a social media lounge and an adventure playground.
Lunch is included. There will be several speakers taking part in this year's conference including Dr. Belinda George, Tisha Poncio, Flippin' Good Tech, Michael Bonner, and John Meehan. Topics of discussion will include leadership, technology, and curriculum.
High school students can participate in Tech Tank where they pitch their technology ideas to experts.
Admission to the conference is free. However, if attendees would like a T-shirt as a keepsake of the event, the fee is $20. VIP parking is also available for $60.
Conferences like this encourage networking and it is likely that attendees will be bringing their Business Cards to this Houston event. There will be many opportunities for them to exchange cards and talk about their personal experiences.
The conference will be held at Davis High School in Houston on October 24 from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. For more information about this year's conference, call 713-487-6672.
