The 7th annual AfriFest is taking place next month in Houston.
A presentation of the Nigerian-American Multicultural Council (NAMC), the festival is advertised as a festival of African arts, culture, and entertainment. It is set to feature entertainment from several African countries; there will be dance, musical performances, and several cultural presentations. There will be plenty of traditional costumes to be seen also.
There will be several special areas set up, including the Africa Arena, the Africa Safari and the Tourism Zone. The Tourism Zone will feature booths from various African countries. There will also be a kids' zone with lots of games and crafts.
Several vendors will be on hand to sell African-related merchandise and food. Vendor spaces are still available, for which fees are $150 for 10 x 10-feet or $275 for 10 x 20-feet. Food vendor fees are $175 or $325. Each vendor will be provided with a table and two chairs as well as tickets to the festival.
Sponsorships are available from $750 up to $10,000. Events like this are often advertised with the help of Houston Stationery printers, who might be asked to provide marketing materials like Flyers.
