Two events here in Grapevine are scheduled for October, catering to both generations.
For the kids, the Lancaser Theatre will be holding Trick-or-Treat Cartoons and Crafts on Tuesdays during October. Crafts include ghost door hangers, magic color scratch Halloween shapes, picture frame magnets, and pumpkin glasses.
Cartoons being shown will be Bugs Bunny’s Howl-oween Special, Garfield’s Halloween Adventure, It’s Magic Charlie Brown, It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Scooby Doo: Mummy Scares Best, and Toy Story of Terror.
The $6 children’s tickets will include popcorn, crafts, and either bottled water or apple juice. Adult tickets will be $3 and will include bottled water or apple juice.
All events will begin at 10:00 am at 300 S Main.
As an adults-only event, over 20 Grapevine restaurants will be providing food samples while local bands provide the music at the 25th Annual Great Taste of Grapevine. The event will also feature a raffle, auction, and cash bar.
Adult tickets will be $40 and kids’ tickets will be $10. Souvenir wine glasses sporting this year’s graphic design and commemorative plates are included.
The 25th Annual Great Taste of Grapevine will be a fundraising event for Grapevine Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Spirit programs, which helps with school supplies.
Great Taste of Grapevine will be October 14 at Hilton DFW Lakes, 1800 Highway 26 E., from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm.
