Grapevine annual celebrations and parade slated

Grapevine's 37th Carol of Lights, and the Grapevine Chamber and City of Grapevine's 46th Annual Parade of Lights, will return in early December.

Carol of Lights will feature City Hall's tree lighting ceremony and a fireworks show. Activity zones will feature interactive games and bounce houses. Multiple stages will offer entertainment from local musicians, dance troupes, and choirs. Food vendors will be lining Main Street selling hot cocoa and festive goodies.

The City Hall Light Show Spectacular will feature thousands of lights choreographed to seasonal tunes, with performances from dusk to 11:00 pm through December.

Carol of Lights will take place at and around Grapevine City Hall, 200 S. Main Street from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 24 in Downtown Grapevine.

The theme for this year's City of Grapevine's 46th Annual Parade of Lights will be "Storybook Parade". The route will take more than 100 lighted entries from Hanover Street and South, then north across Dallas Road, and down through Grapevine's downtown Main Street, before ending at Northwest Highway and S. Main Street. Santa will be on the final float to usher in the holiday season.

Seasonal parade entries often arrange banner printing beforehand to have Banners introducing them to the spectators.

The Parade of Lights will take place on Thursday, December 4 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
