Grapevine couples may want to attend either a Valentine's Day Messina Hof Chocolate & Wine Pairing in early February, or a Sweetheart Wine Train experience on Valentine's Day itself.
Messina Hof Grapevine Winery will serve five chocolate dishes, including cocoa-kissed savories and truffles with wine that brings out the chocolate flavor. Reservations are $57 per guest and must be purchased in advance.
The Chocolate and Wine Pairing will take place Friday, February 6 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Messina Hof Winery, 201 South Main Street.
Just over a week later, Grapevine Vintage Railroad will host The Sweetheart Wine Train. The romantic evening will consist of a two-hour historic train ride through Grapevine and wines paired with savory bites and dessert.
Guests may opt for Standard bench seating for two people at $56 per person, or Premier Class table for four for $450. Each Standard ticket will include two 4oz pourings of Texas wine in a souvenir wine glass, a single red rose for the lady, savory bites, and dessert. Premier Class tickets will include hot meals, three 4oz pourings of Texas wine in souvenir glasses, red roses, and VIP parking.
The Sweetheart Wine Train will be Saturday, February 14 at 7:30 pm at Grapevine Vintage Railroad, 705 W. Main Street. Stationery printers often use pictures of events like these for Valentine's Day cards.
