The Association of Water Board Directors will be holding a golf outing during its 2026 AWBD Annual Conference at the Gaylord Texas Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine.
The mid-June tournament will be in a scramble format with a shotgun start, and golfers will be placed in foursomes determined by each registrant's handicap.
Registration for members will be $225 and non-members will pay $450. An additional late fee of $100 will be applied after May 28.
Golfers must be preregistered and may check in beginning at 6:30 am, and can enjoy coffee and tacos on tournament day. Instructions will be given at 7:30 am and tee time will be 7:45 am. Lunch, Powerade and water will be provided.
Trophies will go to winners of the longest drive and closest to the pin contests, and to the top three finishing teams. A dress code will be enforced and will include soft spiked shoes, shirts with collars, and other appropriate golf attire.
Golf Hole (limited to three per registered organization) and Golf Luncheon sponsorships are available. Special tournaments like this often have their player cards printed with the organization's logo or branding colors made at local Print shops.
