The 40th annual GrapeFest is scheduled to take place this September with this year’s theme being “Connecting wine traditions, one glass at a time.”
GrapeFest was launched in 1987 as a one-day event that began as a way of supporting Grapevine’s Historic Main Street’s restoration while also celebrating the growing Texas wine industry. The event, which is held on the city’s historic Main Street, has grown in duration as its popularity has grown into a three-day event that has achieved international recognition with approximately 250,000 attendees each year.
As part of the festival there will be the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic, which is the largest wine tasting competition in the U.S. judged by consumers and open exclusively to Texas Wines. Also at the festival is a feature called the International Wine Experience where curated selection of wines from Grapevine’s sister cities as well as other parts of the world are offered.
Among the many items offered by a Print shop are wine bottle labels.
The International Wine Experience this year will also celebrate the 1976 Judgement of Paris’s 50th anniversary. A blind tasting competition, the Judgement then awarded Napa, California wines top honors in all categories. This year both Napa Valley and French wines will be available at GrapeFest.
Also, part of this year’s GrapeFest will be wine seminars, a harvest wine train, an artisan marketplace, a champagne terrace and of course the GrapeStomp.
This year GrapeFest will be held September 17 – September 20, 2026.
