The Band of the West’s 36th Annual Main Street Fest has been moved to the end of June.
The fest will have three days of non-stop entertainment on two stages - the Town Square Gazebo Stage and the Grapevine Stage. Street performers and entertainers will be along Main Street. Fans usually go online beforehand to buy their favorite groups’ Promotional Products.
Street food vendors will be hawking everything from burritos, corn dogs, and turkey legs to lemonade, kettle corn, and cotton candy.
The event will feature Marketplace and Artisan vendors, as well as the Historic Downtown Grapevine shops. Other activities will include a kids’ zone, railroad excursions, and exhibits in the Grapevine Settlement to City Museum. The event will also include craft brew tastings from over 36 breweries.
Admission will be free Friday until 5:00 pm. After that, admission will be $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $5 for kids. Passes for the whole weekend will be $15. Carnival rides passes for Friday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, will cost $30 per person.
The 2020 Main Street Fest Tennis Tournament will have its usual Open and Mixed Doubles Money Madness. This non-sanctioned event will have junior and adult divisions. Mixed Doubles winners will take home $1,200 in cash.
The event, which was originally scheduled for this weekend, will now be June 26 and 27 from 10:00 am until 11:30 pm, and June 28 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
