Main Street Fest just weeks away

Presented by Bank of the West, Grapevine’s annual Main Street Fest will be coming to downtown Grapevine in mid-May. This will be the 38th year for the traditional craft brew experience.

The festival will feature musical entertainment, street performers, museum exhibits, and crafts for the younger ones. Some of these activities will include Grapevine Aquarium’s Sealife, and Discovery Center’s Legoland. A carnival will have midway games and rides.

Attendees can browse through the Grapevine Marketplace where local artisans and specialty vendors will be selling their one-of-a-kind creations. People that meander through arts and crafts venues like this one often collect Business Cards from those vendors and artisans they especially enjoy. That way they can get in touch with them after the event to buy more items or arrange for custom-made pieces.

Over 80 galleries, restaurants, shops, boutiques, and winery tasting rooms that line Historic Main Steet will also be open.

More than 80 craft brews will be available for sampling in the Gaylord Texan Resort’s Craft Brew Tasting Experience. This activity will require tickets.

Daily festival tickets will be $9 for adults, or $5 for seniors over 61 years old and children ages 6 to 12.

Grapevine Main Street Fest will open 5:00 pm on Friday, May 20. That night ,the event will close at 11:00 pm. For Saturday, May 21, festival hours will be 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, and Sunday’s hours will be from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
