Local plaza has full-on plans for fall

Grapevine’s Harvest Hall’s Peace Plaza at 815 S. Main Street has a full fall schedule.

Public Art Walking Tours will be taking guests on outdoor tours of the architecture styles and sculptures in Peace Plaza. The tours will begin at 15 Frist Street SW at the Chateau Theater Building. The free event will last about 45 minutes. Tours will be conducted on Sundays on September 10, 17, and 24 at 1:00 pm.

The fall Grapevine Main LIVE! will be an eight-week music series beginning this Friday, September 1 with our own local band, Justin Mason. A Phil Collins Tribute band will perform on September 8, followed by a Bob Seger Tribute on September 22, and a Fleetwood Mac Tribute will end the month’s performances on September 29.

October performances will include a Brooks and Dunn Tribute on October 6, a Foreigner Tribute on October 13, a Bruce Springsteen Tribute band on October 20, and Epic Unplugged on October 27.

The free performances will be from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm and food will be available at eight global kitchens.

On October 7 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Celebra Grapevine 2023, a Hispanic heritage festival, will have Latin cuisine, Havana NRG, luchadores, and a flash mob experience.

Oktoberfest on Peace Plaza on October 20th will offer German food, beer, and stein holding contests.
