Grapevine supports local businesses and fallen hero
Grapevine's Hustle Foundation will be presenting its annual Hustle Foundation Golf Invitational in mid-June and Remember the Fallen Heroes will be holding its 16th Annual Darren Medlin Memorial Golf Tournament in early June.
June 9th, the 16th Annual Darren Medlin Memorial Golf Tournament will be raising funds for local police officers who have been killed or injured in the line of duty and for their families.
The shotgun start will be at 8:00 am and the event will wind down around 1:00 pm at the Grapevine Golf Course, 3800 Fairway Drive.
The Hustle Foundation Golf Invitational has been organized to provide a day of friendly competition, philanthropy and networking opportunities.
General admission will be $175 and will come with 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, refreshments on the course, a raffle and an auction. Attendees are encouraged to make this a networking opportunity and many who attend events like this often bring business cards.
There will be team prizes and contests including Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and a Hole-in-One Challenge.
The Hustle Foundation funds scholarships, provides resources and supports aspiring entrepreneurs to help them create and grow their businesses.
Hole, Beverage Cart and Title sponsorships are available.
Check-in will begin at 7:00 am with the Shotgun Start following at 8:00 pm. The format will be a 4-Man Scramble.
