Grapevine has announced an incredible 1,400 Christmas events coming up between now and the big day itself.
Great Wolf Lodge will have its annual Snowland of decorations, North Pole University, Snow and Glow dance parties, visits with Santa, and a life-size gingerbread house.
Meanwhile, Gaylord Texan Resort will present ICE! and Lone Star Christmas. Two million pounds of ice is being sent there to be made into life-sized ice sculptures, ice monuments, and slides. A 54-foot Christmas tree presides over the tree lighting event, which will include an eight-foot-tall gingerbread house, Cookies and Milk with Mrs. Claus, and Santa’s Wild Workshop Snow Tubing.
Kids can wear their jammies and climb aboard the Grapevine Railroad’s North Pole Express. They will receive a Memory Mug filled with Chocolate Snow Milk and a Christmas cookie. Mrs. Claus will board the train at Reindeer Ridge and give each child a ‘We Believe’ bell. A journey through the North Pole will include a Santa performance, and a chance for photo opts with each child. These photos can be taken to local Print shops to be made into Holiday Cards.
Snowland will begin November 24 and continue through January 4 at Great Wolf Lodge, 100 Great Wolf Drive.
ICE! And Lone Start Christmas is running from now until January 1 at Gaylord Texan Resort, 1501 Gaylord Trail.
The Polar Express train rides will leave from the Cotton Belt Depot at 705 S. Main Street late in November and on designated days in December at various times.
