The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce will be honoring nine local outstanding community leaders at its Grapevine Community Awards Banquet Presented by Bank of the West coming at the beginning of February.
The Don Ramey Community Spirit will be awarded to one who has contributed outstanding leadership to our community over a period of time. The Ted Willholte Legacy will go to a local person who has demonstrated responsible change and a pioneering spirit while being a catalyst for inspiration and education. The D.E. Box Citizen of the Year will be given to a local individual who has given time, and leadership in community development programs. Member of the Year will be awarded to a Grapevine Chamber of Commerce Member business that has made outstanding contributions the Chamber and to the community.
Other awards will go to an outstanding local woman, most active member of the Chamber, Rising Stars of the Chamber, and to one organization that has helped those in need or shown leadership to the community over the past year.
Photos of award winners may go to local Print shops to be put into family newsletters. Tickets are $85 per guest or $700 for tables of eight, and must be purchased before January 28.
Grapevine Community Awards will be Wednesday, February 5, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, 1501 Gaylord Trail. Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm.
