Grapevine Stationery printers and owners and employees of local Print shops will be attending the 22nd annual Heirloom’s Grapevine Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival coming this month.
Many will be exhibitors with equipment for scrapbooking, art rubber stamping, paper crafting, and cardmaking. There will be Crop & Craft tables available for guest to bring their current projects and work on them during the event, and numerous free demonstrations.
Design & Treasure Make and Takes will be presented by four teachers from Kiwi Lane, Endless Creations, Stamp on It, and Fun Stamp.
In Thursday’s pre-festival class, students will be making two multimedia projects using embossing powders, gold leafing, mica powders, and PK Glitters.
Friday’s classes will be making cards and a card carrier as handmade gifts, Texas Layouts where guests will be making two-page layouts, and Birthday Bonanza where crafters will be creating four birthday cards. Also on Friday, students can make a 12 x 12 paper sampler. Five cards can be made at the Let’s Be Mermaids class. Many of these classes will be repeated on the Saturday.
Artists may bring their 2.5 by 3.5 inch cards with the theme ‘Freedom’ to the Heirloom booth to enter the trading card contest.
Heirloom Festival will be July 13 and 14 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 South Main Street.
