The 35th Annual Main Street Fest will be coming in mid-May. The three-day fest will feature entertainment a food festival, family fun, local brews, and a tennis tournament.
A plethora of marketplace vendors and artisans will have items for purchase. At events such as this one, vendors and artists usually have Business Cards with them for passersby to get in contact with them later.
Over 25 food vendors will be on site hawking their specialties. Some food items for sale will be empanadas, jumbo corn dogs, turkey legs and BBQ sandwiches, fajitas, kettle corn, frog legs, gyros, and cheeseburgers. Some will offer treats such as shaved ice, popsicles, German roasted nuts, funnel cakes, homemade root beer, and snow cones.
A Kids’ Zone will entertain the children with shows and activities. Sealife Grapevine Aquarium will present some live animals. A midway and carnival should attract the older kids and teens.
Live entertainment will be continuous on the Main Stage and at the Gazebo. Friday night on the Main Stage will be Darryl Worley and Ray Scott, and Bill Carter will be on the Main Stage on Saturday. Saturday night’s headliner will be ABC. Doc Brown & DeLorean will play all day on Sunday. The Gazebo will have the Rock Bottom Boys, Will Carter, Chaz Marie, and Live 80. Street performers and live entertainers will mill through the venue interacting with the crowd.
Main Street Fest will be May 17, 18, 19 in Downtown Grapevine.
