Grapevine Main Street Fest remains on tap

Bank of the West is sponsoring the 37th Annual Grapevine Main Street Fest. Though “reimagined” this year, the street fair is being scheduled for mid-May, and this year’s focus will be on Main Street businesses and local non-profits.

Local restaurants will have temporary expanded outdoor eating areas so more guests can enjoy alfresco dining and local boutiques will extend their storefronts for more shopping experiences. Gaylord Texan Resort will sponsor a Craft Brew Experience featuring over 50 brews from 11 states.

Live music will be on three stages. Theatrical street performers will be appearing at various places around the venue.

Activity Allies will have a Gratuity Wall, and a Grapevine Escape. The Game Garden will feature the likes of chess and checkers.

Vendors will also be selling the usual funnel cakes and turkey legs, and some will offer gourmet food items. Festivalgoers who particularly enjoy a vendor’s wares often ask for their Business Cards.

This year, the craft beer and other local vendors will use a cashless system. This will eliminate queues, large gatherings, and congested areas.

Main Street Fest “Reimagined” will be Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16 from 11:00 until 8:00 pm. Admission will be free. Hours will be 10:00 am until 11:30 pm. The event will take place in Historic Downtown Grapevine, 325 S. Main Street.
