The 34th annual GrapeFest has been scheduled for mid-September.
The four-day event will feature premium Texas champagnes and wine tasting along with festival food and live entertainment.
Musical entertainment will be on the Grapevine Mills Stage at the intersection of East Franklin and Main Streets and the Gazebo Stage on Main Street. Street performers and live entertainers will be milling along Main Street and there will be some live acts in KidsWorld. The Historic Palace Theater will present free movies for festival attendees.
A carnival and midway will offer games, thrill rides and rides for the children. KidsWorld will have a LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium. Friday and Saturday evenings, ice carving demonstrations will be given by a chainsaw artist at 7:30 pm at E. Texas Street and S. Main Street. Grapevine Marketplace will feature hand-made items for purchase.
Events leading up to the festival include the Italian Car Fest, dinners featuring food and wine pairing, the Texas Wine Tribute Gala And Auction, and the GrapeFest Golf Classic.
Each day at 2:00 pm festival goers can experience being in old 1880’s Print shops by making their own souvenirs on a 1881 Chandler and Price printing press at 206 W. Hudgin Street in the Settlement to City Museums.
The 34th Annual GrapeFest will be September 17, 18, 19 and 20th in Downtown Grapevine.
