Grapevine invited to inaugural charity golf tournament

The Inaugural Texas North Classic Charity Golf Tournament will be taking place in Grapevine in early August.

Golfers can look forward to 18 holes of golf with a 4-person scramble format, and contests such as Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Heckle Hole. Heckle Holes are surprise special holes during play where golfers encounter unexpected humorous challenges and can take extra shots. Usually, a couple of hired comedians are at the hole making snarky comments as the golfer tries to make the shot.

Non-golfers and those not out on the links may enjoy activities, games, music, sponsor booths, giveaways, food and drinks back at the clubhouse.

Proceeds will benefit small businesses, local charities and individuals by providing emergency assistance, financial relief and community support.

Registration for individual players will be $175 and will include green fees, lunch, dinner and swag Bags. Foursome registration will be $700 and will include the same amenities. Sponsorships are divided into Under $2000, $2000 to $4000 and Presenting Sponsor at $7500.

Most professionals that attend golf outings such as this often bring plenty of Business Cards as golf is renowned for its valuable networking opportunities.

The Inaugural Texas North Classic Charity Golf Tournament will take place Friday, August 1, beginning at noon and lasting until 4:30 pm at the Cowboys Golf Club, 1600 Fairway Drive.
