Those here in Grapevine wishing to celebrate 2024 4th of July in style locally will have at least two options.
A 4th of July Boat Party will be an evening of music, dancing, and fun on the water. Guests are encouraged to wear swimsuits and sunscreen and bring floats. There will be a slide for everyone to get into the water and life Vests will be available. This will be a BYOB (bring your own beverage) affair. Tickets are $70.
The 4th of July Boat Party will take place at Lake Grapevine's Silver Lake Marina on Thursday, July 4 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Another option will be the Wild Wild Westie 2024. This will be over 20 hours of social West Coast swing dancing in downtown Grapevine. This event will start with a wine walk along Main Street, and dinner and dancing in Harvest Hall Food Hall at Third Rail.
The Wild Wild Westie will continue for another three days with dance competitions, and professional performances. Tickets will be $200 at the door.
Dance enthusiasts occasionally arrange flyer printing beforehand to get the word out about dancing events such as this.
Wild, Wild Westie will take place July 4 through 7 at the Hyatt Regency DFW in downtown Grapevine. The July 4 event will begin at 6:00 pm.
