Both members and nonmembers of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce are invited to the Bank of the West’s annual Grapevine Community Awards Banquet coming in early February.
Individual tickets are $55 per person and a $500 sponsor ticket will reserve a table for eight. These tickets can be purchased by phone at the Chamber office and online. Attendees at events such as this usually bring a few Business Cards just in case someone asks.
Nine awards will be given, each sponsored by local citizens and businesses. The Don Ramey Community Spirit is given to the person who has shown outstanding devotion and leadership to the community over the years. The Ted Willhoite Legacy Award will go to an educator who over the past few years has shown pioneering and inventive spirit that brought change to the community. The D.E. Box Citizen of the Year will go to a sincere volunteer who has given leadership and time in a community development program.
Other awards will be Member of the Year, Business Hall of Fame, Women’s Division Woman of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, Director of the Year, and the Chairman’s Award.
Doors for the Awards Banquet will open February 6 at 6:00 pm, with dinner at 7:00 pm at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center, 1800 Highway 26 East. Cocktail dress is required.
