Repticon Dallas will be coming to Grapevine in August. The two-day event will feature over 25 national and regional vendors selling and exhibiting amphibians, reptiles, and exotics.
Reptile and amphibian lovers can enter raffles with prizes of reptile merchandise and supplies. These raffles will be held every hour and prizes will be along the lines of large cage décor such as rock outcroppings and waterfalls and habitat set-ups.
The day will be filled with seminars, and interactive informative live animal encounters. Some programs may include care of leopard and crested geckos, dart frogs, and retics.
Some animal vendors to look for will be Beams Ball Pythons, Lou Lou’s Worms, Houston Frogs, Texas Bred Tortoises, and TLA Exotics. Supplies can be found at Real Nature Gifts, Sizzlin Dragonz Pet Shop, Cen-Tex Reptile Cages, and Bayou Suppliers.
Early VIP guests may also receive tote Bags with Promotional Products like those distributed by Zoo Med in the January show.
One-day $10 and two-day $15 adult tickets can be purchased at the door. Kids’ tickets (ages 5 to 12) will be $5. Kids under the age of five get free admission.
Repticon Dallas will take place August 17 and 18 at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 South Main Street. Saturday hours will be from 10:00 until 5:00 pm, while Sunday hours will be 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
