35th Annual Grapefest is around corner

Grapevine’s family-friendly 35th Annual Grapefest will be in full swing for four days in mid-September.

Friday night from 7:30 pm to 8:45pm, entertainment will be Ashenmoon with Garry Beers of INXS and from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm Berlin with Terri Nunn will take over the main stage. The 7:30 to 8:45 pm entertainment slot will be filled by Slim Jim Phantom from The Stray Cats, and he will be followed from 9:30 pm until 11:00 pm with Asia featuring John Payne.

A carnival and midway will have games and rides for younger children and more thrilling rides for the more daring older crowd.

Adult daily admission for Friday and Saturday will be $10 per person, and $5 for seniors and children between 6 and 12. Weekend passes are $25 and tickets for the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic will be $23. The Tasting Classic tickets come with souvenir glasses imprinted with this year’s Logo Design. Wine experiences will be $14 per person. Thursday admission will be free.

For $5 for each event, festival guests may also enter the Mayoral GrapeStomp on Saturday at 11:00am and the daily Champagne Cork Shoot-Off on the Grapevine Mills Stage.

There will also be artisans, a marketplace and food vendors. Guests at events such as this often collect Business Cards from those vendors they especially enjoy.

The 2021 GrapeFest will take place on Grapevine’s Main Street, September 16 through the 19th.
