The Beam of Light symposium is taking place next month in Frisco.
The aim of this event is to show how storytelling can both empower women in business and help build community. It will be hosted by April Adams Pertuis from LIGHTbeamers.
The afternoon will be in the form of a workshop and will feature several speakers who will be telling their own stories and striving to motivate those in attendance. All guests will receive workshop materials to take home with them. Speakers for the day will be Kofi Williams, Louisa Garrett, Christ Fulkerson, and Marlo Rutz.
The symposium will start off with a cocktail networking reception; attendees will enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres as they mingle. There will also be door prizes and giveaways. Guests can also pick a business card off of the Story Wall and connect with professionals.
VIP tickets are available for $225 and include reserved seating at the symposium. Ticket holders also receive a swag bag and are invited to a private dinner with the speakers. They also receive a future coaching session from April Adams Pertuis. Space is limited to 15 only.
Some Frisco business card printing firms may find an increase in new orders leading up to this the Beam of Light symposium, which will be held at the Lincoln Experience Center on May 18 from 1:00 to 5:30 PM. General admission tickets are $79 each. Visit the event website to learn more.
