Art in the Arena, an indoor fine art festival, is returning to Frisco for its third year. Hosted by the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco, this event showcases original works by local artists, connecting them to their community and helping to build relationships with collectors.
This year, Art in the Arena will have up to 65 artist booths with even more works in different styles on display, alongside a juried art gallery, which is a selection of art from submissions that a panel of expert judges have chosen to exhibit. There will also be food, live music, and opportunities for attendees to interact directly with the artists.
This is a three-day event at Comerica Center Arena that kicks off on Friday, August 21 with a VIP Night in the Arena from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. At the VIP Night, attendees will get to experience an art awards reception and be the first to explore and shop at the artist booths and juried gallery. There is a $50 entry fee for this night, and reservations are required as there are limited passes.
On Saturday, 22 August from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday, 23 August from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Art in the Arena continues and admission is free. Parking will also be free all weekend.
At events like this, artists and attendees often rely on local shops for business card printing in order to network.
