Summer arrives in Frisco with two June celebrations

There are a couple of events taking place next month that signify the start of summer in Frisco.

The first is the return of Music in the Square for another season. During Fridays next month, the public will be treated to musical entertainment in Simpson Plaza. The public is invited to bring their own blankets or chairs. There will also be food vendors on hand.

Those who will be performing this year are Justin Mason on June 7, Moving Colors on June 14, The Vinyl Stripes on June 21, and Monte Mongomery will close it out on June 28. All performances start at 7:30 PM. Sponsorships can be purchased from $1,800 to $8,000. This popular event attracts between 800 and 1,000 visitors each week.

Meanwhile, the Omni Frisco Hotel's The Edge pool and deck bar will be opening its summer season on June 7 with The Edge of Summer celebration. Starting at 7:00 PM, guests will enjoy live entertainment from DJSC, specialty cocktails, and Hawaiian-inspired foods. There will also be a cigar bar. Guests are encouraged to wear Hawaiian attire. Tickets are $35 each and include two cocktails, food and parking.

Frisco Stationery printers often help market events like this by providing advertising products like Flyers and Postcards.
