The Empty Bowls movement provides the artistic and food service communities with a way to give back, and one of these events is set to take place in Frisco this April.
The organizers of the 6th annual Empty Bowls Frisco recently announced that it will be held this April, and the public has been asked to show its support wit tickets available for $100 each. It will be taking place at Verona Villa, and everyone who stops by for a meal will get to keep their one-of-a-kind creation.
Each diner will receive a meal of stew or soup along with fresh bread, prepared by local eateries. Once they have finished, they will be able to keep their handmade and decorated bowl as a reminder to keep those who live in food poverty in mind all year. The proceeds will be donated to a program that makes sure local kids have access to nutritious food even when school is not in session.
