In ranking the 2020 “Best Real-Estate Markets”, WalletHub used 24 criteria among which were building permit activity, share of young homes and vacancy rates. Plus, for 2020, a special indicator will be included – how the home state of each city ranked on WalletHub’s earlier report, “States with the Best Health Infrastructure for Coronavirus”.

A number of other North Texas cities were included on the list of 300 communities: Fort Worth was 35th and Irving was 41st while Grand Prairie came in at No. 50, Richardson following at No. 70.
