Frisco is proud of its natural and cultural heritage, and both of these will be on full display for those who participate in community celebration.
The city is set to see the return of Buffalo Stomp, which has come to be a popular staple event for the area for the autumn months. It is co-hosted by the Frisco Garden Club and the city itself, and it includes an environmental stewardship component.
The public that attend the festivities will be getting their day started with a native wildflower planting, which will help to retire the original prairie that once made up much of the local ecosystem. Trees and native grasses will also be installed, and after this, a tree tour, raptor meet and greet and the Buffalo Stomp will round out the occasion. The project will be taking pace at Frisco Commons Park.
More and more people are becoming aware of environmental issues, and a hands-on activity gives them a way to put their thoughts into action. Reusable signage may be prepared for an organizer of not for profit events by a banner printing company.
