An evening of creative horticulture is on the way for Frisco, and it will see ticket holders enjoy a meal while they craft their own dish garden.
A professionally led plant and sip activity is on offer in the community, which the organizers say can be a fun idea for an evening out with friends. Everyone will prepare their own terrarium with live succulents. Everyone is advised to arrive a few minutes ahead of its scheduled start time so they can order food and drinks.
The facilitator will walk the group through the steps of preparing their garden, and they will also share tips and advice for its care. All of the supplies, including plants, planting media, accents and a container, will be supplied, and advance notice is required should larger groups wish to sit together.
Succulents have become a trendy houseplant choice, but can sometimes be fussy when it comes to their care and culture. Supplying those who participate in a planting activity with tip sheets will make it easier for them to keep their garden looking great, and these may be obtained from Stationery printers.
The date for this introduction to creating a succulent planting is set for Wednesday, January 26. It will be held at Tender Smokehouse Frisco, running from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
