Frisco future fathers offered workshop

Frisco’s campus of the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center wants to support fathers to be on their journey to parenthood, and it is offering a workshop that will be filled with information and tips.

The facility has prepared a seminar that will take place over one evening, and it will be an intensive exploration catering to dads-to-be. It is available to those who have registered to have their baby at the center, and once they have signed up, they will receive a log-in ID they can use to add their name to the list of attendees.

During the session, a male physician will discuss topics such as pregnancy, the process of labor and delivery and also what to expect in a newborn. The basics of infant care will be reviewed, and postpartum depression will be on the agenda as well. The future fathers can ask questions and raise concerns, all with a goal of being the best parents they can be to their new little one.

Attending a function like this can help to take some of the stress out of becoming a new parent. Kits of pamphlets and Promotional Products can be prepared to give to each participant, courtesy of area brochure printing companies.

The “Dads Do More than Diapers” workshop is set to be offered on November 16. More details for anyone who would like to take part can be found on its website.
