People have been fascinated by the nighttime sky for many years, and a Frisco gathering will welcome those who are interested in learning more about astronomy.
The Frisco Starfest initiative is for those who would like to learn more about the stars, planets, and how to observe them with a telescope. It is being organized and hosted by the Dallas chapter of the Texas Astronomical Society, which has been in operation since 1955.
The activity is open to both Society members and guests, and it will be on offer at Frisco Commons Park. If the weather is not suitable, it may need to be cancelled, and anyone who wants to confirm that it will take place as scheduled can call 214-800-6000. There is no fee to join the fun, and it will begin 30 minutes after the sun goes down. There will be telescopes set up for the public to use.
