Frisco event to help send kids to camp

A Frisco event is set to light the dance floor on fire when it raises money for those fighting muscular dystrophy.

The organizers of the Burn Prom have pulled out all the stops to make it a memorable occasion, and it can be enjoyed by both seasoned dancers and those who just enjoy moving to the beat. The charity of choice for the evening will be the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which will put the funds raised to use sending kids with this condition to summer camp.

Those on the guest list for the event will be hitting the dance floor to tunes that will be spun by the DJ; both retro music and the latest hits will be played. A photo booth will be set up for anyone who would like to take some pictures of all the fun, and they can then post these to social media. Pizza and a champagne toast will round out the celebration.

When organizing a fundraising event, planners often find themselves tasked with choosing suitable decor. This can be prepared by a poster printing company, which will also be able to provide Letterheads and other custom Stationery.

This evening of music, food, and fun with friends will kick off April on the 6th, starting at 6:30 pm at 1220 Panther Creek Parkway . More information about the event and how the monies raised will be used can be found on its event listing.
