The 11th annual Arts in the Square festival is taking place for two days this month in Houston. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Frisco Family Services.
Over 120 local and regional artists are expected to compete in this popular event. Media included will be fine arts, pottery, textiles, and jewelry. The poster for this year was chosen through a Frisco Independents School District student competition and the winner was John Marc Lasater. The top five finalists' Posters will be displayed at the festival.
In addition to the variety of art for display and sale, there will be musical and other live performances taking place over the two-day festival. Several vendors will be sponsoring interactive art activities.
Frisco Family Services provides help to thousands of local individuals each year. The organization offers a food bank, clothing vouchers and life skills classes. It also sponsors a Summer Lunch Program and distributes Thanksgiving meals.
Many of the artists who will be participating will be in need of signage and Banners to draw attention to their booths. Frisco banner printing services are often asked to provide these items and more.
