Annual event showcases veterans' businesses

The Veteran Business Expo is taking place in Frisco on the last day of next month. This showcase is hosted by Veterans Grow Texas.

The expo is set to highlight businesses that are run either by military veterans or their spouses. It will feature small businesses and various entrepreneurs. It will both be a business to business event and a business to consumer event. Visitors will be able to purchase many of the items exhibited during the day.

There are still plenty of tables available. Fees vary. For Veterans Grow Members a booth featuring a six-foot table costs $50. For non-profit businesses run by non-members, the fee is $500 and for-profit non-member businesses it is $600. Tables will be available until August 15.

There are close to 200,000 veteran-owned businesses in Texas and this event will highlight many in the Dallas and Frisco area. It is likely that most of those business owners planning to attend will be bringing along their Business Cards. There will be many opportunities to exchange cards with peers and with the public.

The Veteran Business Expo will be held at Comerica Center in Frisco on August 31 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Admission to the public is free. To learn more about this event and about Veterans Grow Texas, visit their Meetup page.
