The 9th annual Dallas Fort Worth Admin Awards gala will be held next month. Often called the "Academy Awards for Admins," it is a presentation of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
The theme of this year's gala is "Good as Gold" and it will be completely virtual. A celebration of administrative assistants, nominees and other interested parties are encouraged to form “watch parties” to see the proceedings over Zoom. There will be many door prizes awarded throughout the night.
There are nine awards to be delivered during the evening event, including Rookie of the Year, Loyalty, Spirit and Above the Call. One of those is a special award, the Colleen Barrett Award for Administrative Excellence. The winners will not have to wait for their awards, as they will be delivered virtually as soon as the winner is announced.
Several events were held leading up to the awards, including a virtual cocktail party for the nominees, which took place earlier this month. The public is often informed about upcoming business events such as this through Flyers provided by Frisco Stationery printers.
