Fort Worth venue to host horticultural market
Fort Worth gardeners can enjoy planting all year round, and an upcoming market will help them to fill their flower and vegetable beds and pots with healthy plants.
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden’s annual Fall Plant Sale is right around the corner, and it will provide the chance to stock up on a wide assortment of species and cultivars. As they will have local provenance, they should do well in local growing conditions, and the event will open with a members-only presale.
The general public will be able to shop for two days, and there will be lots to choose from. There will be annuals that offer instant color, while the perennials, shrubs and trees will be longer term investments. An assortment of citrus trees will be in the mix, and admission to the sale will be free of charge. There will be garden professionals on hand to offer tips and advice upon request, and it was explained that it will be a cashless event.
A pop up botanical or other sale may attract a large crowd, and stationery printers will be able to provide materials that lead to planting success. These range from plant tags and tip sheets to paper seed packets printed with a custom graphic design.
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden's annual Fall Plant Sale will be open to members on October 3rd. It will welcome the public on October 4th and 5th.
